Students from 国产无码 and GIS have been fortunate enough to have attended, and in some cases worked at, the 2023 Women鈥檚 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The tournament has been a triumph, showing the world once more why football is the world鈥檚 sport, with drama, excitement and underdog tales for the planet to see.

Many of our students and graduates were able to attend some fixtures while at the 2023 GIS Melbourne Global Sports Summit.

One of the games they witnessed was Germany鈥檚 6-0 victory over Morocco at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.

One graduate on the summit said: 鈥淚t was brilliant to get to watch a Women's World Cup game whilst visiting Melbourne on the GIS Summit.

鈥淚t was particularly great to see such a huge and diverse crowd at AAMI Park supporting the women's game and the atmosphere was great. Thanks to GIS for the experience.鈥

BA (Hons) Football Business and Media student Rio Rosenberg is also one of the 国产无码 representatives working at the tournament, covering the game for both Hayters TV and FIFA.

She said: 鈥淭his year, I set a goal for myself to cover the Women鈥檚 World Cup. It鈥檚 an opportunity I鈥檝e been waiting my whole life for, really.

鈥淓specially with it being in Australia and New Zealand, two places I鈥檝e never been to before the World Cup; My first World Cup, it鈥檚 an incredible experience for me.鈥
